Free energy assessments for SMEs in South and Vale

Energy Solutions Oxfordshire has been awarded funding to provide fully funded energy assessments to organisations in South and Vale (worth a minimum of £1,500 each).

If your organisation wants to find out how it could lower energy bills, cut carbon emissions and make buildings more comfortable for users, get in touch to apply for a fully funded energy assessment.

We have a limited number of assessments available so register early to avoid disappointment.

Registration is now open. The deadline to register for an assessment is 13 December 2024.

How will an energy assessment help my business?

An energy assessment from our expert team will:

  • Help you understand where you could save energy.
  • Give you a list of priority actions to take that will help you save quickly.
  • Provide estimated costs for each recommended measure, with how much energy and money they will save, as well as the carbon savings that will result.
  • Advise on what low carbon technologies, such as solar PV or air source heat pumps, would be most suitable for your business.

We also stay in touch with you following delivery of the assessment, signposting you to any new national or local funding available to help you install the energy saving measures.

Who can apply?

To be eligible organisations must be an SME (fewer than 250 employees) and be based in either South or Vale District Council areas. If you want to check your geography, use this site.

If you are a large organisation, please contact the ESOx team directly to discuss your needs.

Applications will be assessed according to a criteria that includes readiness to take action on our recommendations. Those most prepared to implement low carbon projects will have higher priority.

How to apply?

Any eligible organisation is encourage to apply via our simple online application form. Before starting, ensure that you have to hand some accompanying documentation and information to help your application, including:

  • Energy bills (to upload)
  • Information on energy use at the site, including energy sources, and the main source of heating on site.
