Got a question?
We know that applying for funding can be stressful, and we want this process to be as simple as possible for you. If you have a question about how our Green Fund works that’s not listed below, you can email Alison at alison.grunewald@lowcarbonhub.org.
What if my organisation doesn’t already have an ESOx report?
If you don’t already hold an energy efficiency report from us, then we’d be more than happy to carry one out for you before you apply. Our report will let you know if your premises are suitable for low carbon technologies like solar PV, and provide you with a number of low and no cost improvements.
If you’d like to book an assessment for the Green Fund, please contact alison.grunewald@lowcarbonhub.org.
Which projects will the Green Fund support?
Our Green Fund will support any measures recommended in our report, including the installation of renewable energy technology, insulation, building or material upgrades and more.
Is my organisation eligible to receive the Green Fund?
Your organisation must be a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME) with less than 250 employees, a turnover that does not exceed €50m per year, and/or a balance sheet that does not exceed €43m per year. Your organisation must also have an ESOx assessment and be applying to implement one or more of the recommendations in your report.
What is the maximum funding my organisation can receive?
Our energy efficiency grants are available for £200 – £10,000, but must be match funded on a 1:3 basis (25% grant to 75% organisation contribution). To receive the minimum £200 grant, total project expenditure must be £800 and your organisation will need to contribute £600 of the cost, through your own capital or other grant sources. To receive the maximum grant size of £10,000, the total project expenditure must be £40,000 and your organisation will need to fund £30,000.
